They are usually found on the skin of the upper or lower eyelid towards the nose.
They appear as yellowish-white lipid plaques, however, blood lipids may be elevated or normal.
They are more common in genetically determined conditions of elevated lipids.
The treatment aims at aesthetic restoration and is surgical.
In some cases, however, they may relapse.
